Beginners Landscape Photography Workshop

I’m very excited to announce my first landscape photography workshop run in conjunction with Lullingstone Country Park!

**UPDATE**  Although we couldn’t go ahead with this in 2020 or earlier in 2021, it will now be held on Saturday 4th September 2021…

This is a free landscape photography workshop for beginners.  We will meet at the Visitor Centre at Lullingstone Country Park at 10am.  We start with an indoor session where I will share lots of landscape photographic composition tips and techniques, followed by a photography walk around the park to put them into practice.  Then we’ll finish back at the Visitor Centre around 1pm.

The event is funded by The Darent Valley Landscape Partnership Scheme, which works to conserve and enhance the distinctive heritage landscapes of the Darent Valley, and is particularly inspired by the work of Samuel Palmer, a landscape artist who painted this area two hundred years ago.

Everyone is welcome, but you do need to book.  It is for beginners, so it doesn’t matter if you use a mobile phone, basic camera or a bigger SLR camera if you have one.  I will be covering composition techniques rather than technical things you can do with your camera.

Book here with Lullingstone Country Park, (click on September 4th and follow the Buy Tickets button instructions).
